Children wowed by firefighter educational visit

We had the opportunity to sit in the fire engine, see how the ladder and tools work, try on the uniform and - most fun of all - test the fire hose.

The children learned some valuable lessons about fire safety and the invaluable work that firefighters do to keep us safe.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces among the brigade, including parents of children Amanda and team had looked after several years ago!
